How to Print Your Exit Re-Entry Visa

Carrying a printed copy of your exit and re-entry visa makes airport check-in and immigration smoother. You can print or download it through Absher or the public Muqeem portal. This guide shows both routes.

The quick answer

Log in to Absher, open the passport or travel services, find the exit and re-entry visa, and use the print option. If you have no Absher account, the public Muqeem visa-validity portal lets you view and print the visa details after a quick check.

Two ways to print your visa

Use Absher if you have an account, or the public Muqeem portal if you do not. Both let you produce a copy to show at the airport.

1

Via Absher

Absher is the main government portal for residents and citizens.

  1. Go to the Absher portal at absher.sa and log in with your username and password, or register through the Nafath app.
  2. Open the 'My Services' section and choose 'Services'.
  3. Select 'Reports' and then 'Documents' (or 'Alien Control').
  4. Your Iqama details, including the expiry date, will be displayed on screen.

2

Via Muqeem

Muqeem is the platform used by establishments and sponsors.

  1. Visit the Muqeem platform at muqeem.sa.
  2. Log in, or use the public inquiry option if your sponsor has enabled it.
  3. Enter your Iqama number, and if asked, your passport number, date of birth or expiry date.
  4. Submit the form to see your Iqama validity and status.

Why a printed copy helps

Airlines increasingly verify exit and re-entry visa status before letting you board. A printout, or a clear screenshot, lets you resolve any doubt at the counter without scrambling for a login on airport wifi.

Keep the copy with your passport and boarding pass. It is a small step that prevents the worst-case scenario of being denied boarding over a visa the system simply could not confirm in the moment.

Frequently asked questions

Is a screenshot enough, or do I need a paper print?

A clear screenshot or PDF on your phone is usually accepted, but a paper copy is a safe backup in case your phone battery dies or there is no signal.

Can I print a dependent's visa?

Yes. Through Absher a sponsor can view and print dependents' visas, and through Muqeem you can look up each person using their own Iqama number.

Where can I find official information?

Always rely on the official government portals such as absher.sa and moi.gov.sa for the most accurate, up-to-date information about your residency.
